I watched both conventions equally myself, and I still find myself siding with the Democrats. It's the apparent Republican ethic of being intolerant of so many different cultural groups and lifestyle choices, as well as their lack of representation of other social classes besides the upper crust of society (compare the appearances of people at each convention. At the DNC, you could see people of all social classes, appearances, and dress. That kind of diversity was not made apparent by what was shown of the RNC on television) that steers me away from affilliating myself with their party, not some bullshit about "idiot sons of assholes" spit out by Fat Mike.

On a whole, the Republican party has a much wealthier support group. They dont need to demonstrate or fight with effort and poise(sp), they can just pay people off. Fat Mike is poor in comparison to most Republican supporters. He is probably worth 2-2.5 mill. One of Bush's houses is worth more than that.

Strike Anywhere & Mike Park. Right on! And to be honest, I don't have anything against Anti Flag. They're a great band, as far as I'm concerned. A hell of a lot better than the majority of groups out there. If you listen to the music and the lyrics without preconceived notions, it's really good, catchy skate punk. 'A New Kind of Army' is a great album, as well as 'Die For Your Gov't.'. I don't get all the bashing that's going on with them, as far as being shallow, not knowing what they're talking about. They're a lot deeper, politically, than I'd ever think/hope I was. Fifteen is still some good old school punk which sings beyond politics. . .*cough* 'Swains First Bike Ride' *cough*. Scotch
