Tangiers sign to Frenchkiss / session on CBC Radio 3

CBC Radio 3 has a new live session online with Toronto's Tangiers. The site is streaming four live renditions of songs from this year's Sonic Unyon release Never Give You Pleasure ("I Don't Love You," "Tropical Ceremony," "Walk Run Walk" and "Love Rackets" in particular). The accompanying article also reports that the band has signed to NYC's Frenchkiss Records (owned by Les Savy Fav's Syd Butler).

This is one of my favorite records of the year. It's really different than Hot New Spirits, especially considering that they've lost two members and only have one guitarist now. -adam

There was also a really great solo performance by John Samson on Radio 3 if you search for it.
