We at Punk Voter are doing everything we can to get the word out now that we're in the final stretch. So we've got lots of new shit to check out at the site: an exclusive song from Straylight Run and guest columns from Dwarves, Tsunami Bomb, and Midtown. If nothing else foks, we need to recognize the importance of voting EARLY on Tuesday. We don't want the media to declare an early Bush victory based on exit polls...so get there early and bring your fuckin' ID!

Good. I've been reading up on election fraud in the US recently. In the 2000 elections, the Michigan Republican party actually hired white college football players and had them hang out at predominately black polling places and ask people invasive questions to intimidate voters. They eventually were noticed by the poll workers and kicked out. If that's not evil, I don't know what is.

They also are known to have people dress up in suits and tell people polls are closed around 6, when many blue collar workers who are more than likely Democrat leave work and get a chance to vote, when in reality the places are still open.

Where I live in Charlotte, the democrats have been bussing in after church, black voters, who they think will not vote if they aren't taken from church right after it ends to the polls. What do people think about this? A lot of the voters they interview on the news say this is right because voting on only Novmber 2nd is the conservatives attempt to not let minorities vote. What do people think about this statement?

I think it's no surprise that they are trying everything possible to get people to vote. I also notice the two Repulican methods used were deception and thuggery, while the democratic one was more of an act of desperation. Of course, i'm sure someone could name things the democrats have done that have been immoral (but i'm guessing not as many).

damn michelle nolan's voice is nice. i voted last week (absentee) but come on people, this is such an important election that can you honestly blame people for really trying to press the necessity of all of this? it'll be over soon, then all the lawyers can play lawsuits.

actually if you're between 18 and 24 your vote counts more than you know, because with low voter turnouts for that demographic no politican acknowledges our existence. therefore, if we don't vote (no matter who for) our issues will not be met.

The media conducts impromptu surveys are conducted nationwide of people leaving the polls, asking them who they voted for. Hence, exit polls. -Scott

I've come to the conclusion that bush should win. think about it, kerry is a no talent hack who doesn't deserve to be president as much as bush does. If we let bush into office for four more years, he will dig himself into an even deeper hole than he is already in with no chance at getting out. this will force a bad light on the republican party who will have no chance at winning another presidency in a long time, thus opening the gates to hilliary clinton and barrack obama. also, it will destroy bush's political career and possibly his career on the speaking circuit.

No it means soon you'll have all the Jesus-Freaks running rampant for 4 years & more censorship on T.V. Even higher Oil/Gas prices than now. Probably a reality T.V. show about the Bush girls (ah that'll happen anyways). The rich will get richer due to the nice tax breaks GW gives them. FUCK GEORGE BUSH, he doesn't take this seriously. Why would we want to elect him again? So he can take more vacations? I'd like like to give him the next 4 years off so I'm voting Kerry & not because Fat Mike says so. Also, myabe Midtown should go into politics since they have no music career. (That new CD is a pile of shit!) One last note, Straylight Run has to be the most overrated band in history after The Mars Volta! FUCK THE NOLANS! (that CD is a piece of shit also! It put me to sleep, literally!)
