Inspection 12 & Near Miss sign to Takeover

Takeover Records has announced the addition of Near Miss and Inspection 12 to their label roster. Inspection 12 released In Recovery through Fat imprint Honest Dons and released the follow up Get Rad independently in the US and in Europe through Floppy Cow. Near Miss, which includes two members formerly of Bigwig, released their debut The Gentle Art of Making Enemies through Fearless in 2002.

this is from punkrocks.net...funny AND true: Most Unsurprising News Ever Takeover Records, home to all the bands Yellowcard have been friends with since 1998 (Craig's Brother, Stole Your Woman, etc.), just announced the signing of two bands that have been dropped from their respective indie labels recently, Near Miss and Inspection 12. Props to the guys at Takeover for taking care of their friends, but given this lack of A&R foresight, let's try to predict what other bands that are past their prime will find themselves on Takeover in the future: Ten Foot Pole? Slick Shoes? Nerf Herder? Ann Beretta? Automatic 7? Junction 18? ha!
