from the bands site: Secret Lives of the Freemasons was formed in late summer 2003 from the breakup of local big-drawing bands, Throwing Myself and A Kiss Before Dying. The new sound is a hybrid of both bands, mixing elements of pop with the brutality of hardcore and the honesty of emo. Well then I guess we're in for something TOTALLY original!...or not 2+ Replies

The Mason society nowadays is just a really creepy collection of men recruiting young, mentally undeveloped boys for really creepy reasons.

Speaking of Eyeball records, where is the All Rattle and Dust album coming out?

Why don't yall get to know the guys before you start talking shit, huh? That's what I thought. They kick ass & you know it & you only start saying shit because you're jealous =p.

at least their singer doesn't sound as much like Daryl Palumbo as he used to in Throwing Myself....whoever said they were a bunch of arrogant pricks (except Travis) is 100% right...i still wish them the best of luck, this will be good for north carolina (i think) 1+ Reply

I believe that everyone should prepare themselves for something really amazing. Secret Lives is one of the best bands in Asheville. And there's more where that came from. They have one of the most unique sounds I've heard.

Perhaps you'll should see A Closing Skyline too. They play with Secret Lives. ACS resently lost their old Drummer, but they're still awesome. 1+ Reply
