In Memoriam: Joe Lamadrid of All Hell Breaks Loose

Surprise Attack Records is reporting that Joe Lamadrid, drummer of All Hell Breaks Loose, was found dead after their show this past Friday, November 26th in Tampa, FL. The label posted this statement from the band:

"All Hell Breaks Loose has decided not to continue in light of what has happened. To put any and all rumors to bed, we don't know what happened and neither does his family. I have received numerous phone calls asking about rumors and to put all rumors to sleep, we do not know what happened. Joe meant more to us than any of you will ever know. He was an incredible musician and an amazing friend. He will forever be missed and will always be in our hearts and memories. We have decided to have one more show which will be a memorial tribute for Joe. All Hell Breaks Loose will play our final show ever with the help of our friend, Rene from Target Nevada on drums. The show will be in Miami, FL sometime in the next few weeks. All the money that is raised from the show as well as whatever merch we sell will be donated to Joe's family. Anyone who has questions or wants to help, email us at xbandslutx@yahoo.com. Lastly, to everyone across the country who has called us the last few days, sent their best wishes, and dropped us emails, we love you all. To everyone in South Florida, thank you. Could you be more arrogant, you fucking idiot. i work in pr (and not in the sense that i stand on the street with flyers to go to certain dance clubs) and have worked as a journalist in mainstream media. If somebody dies you report it. If cause of death isn't known, you mention that it is unclear what happened. If there will be an autopsy, you report which dates the results are expected. But you don't hold off and end up being the last to report it, that's ridiculous. You must be the worst pr hack in the world. There's your lesson, but it's beyond the point. Somebody died and right now there are some people in south florida who are probably hurting pretty bad. If you are that isolated from society that you can't realize this you should lock yourself in your apartment for the rest of your life. Nobody likes you anyways, so do us a favor.

Anyways, here is my point: i wasn't commenting on the quality of the press release, a band put it out and it should be taken for what it is, information. it wasn't in a newspaper, it wasn't released by a pr firm, it was Joe's friends who had some unfortunate news to share. My condolences. I've never listened to All Hell Breaks Loose and I definitely don't know the member that passed, but I would think he'd want the band to carry on even after this unfortunate event.

no offence to your buddy, but people hear about millions of people that die all the time, and it's usually fueled by our very lifestyle. I believe the desensitization to death of people we don't know is somewhat understandable. Not to say his death wasn't tragic, but it wasn't felt by those who had never heard of him. If you find this to be "mean", then you're quite delusional about reality. also, only half the board acted like dicks.. way to generalize.. that's pretty low man.. we have feelings. someone just died, let's have another 20 comments for that annonymous person.

umm.......what are you talking about, the people who have said stuff that could be intepreted wrong all said that they meant no offense by what they said. it's not like anybody is going "good, i hated that asshole." or do you want that? maybe it's just because i'm disconnected from the band and this situation that i don't find it offensive but i really didn't see any wrong doing other than maybe that first comment. point out where people have disrespected his death.

my only previous exposure to this band was randy from lamb of god sporting their shirt at that ozzfest pressconference last spring, but regardless this is really sad news. lambgoat was reporting thats he was also only 18. RIP

My friend's band, The Absence, played that show. I guess he was found dead behind a dumpster after the show. People say it was a blow to the head but no one is really sure. It sucks that he died that young.
