I'm going to have an east coast New Years Celebration to commemorate my 22nd birthday...we'll be ice skating instead of rocking, but it is still just as fun. FREE DEBBIE CAKES FOR ALL! - Kirby

Everytime I see a band with an SK in their name, I can't help but think of Skrewdriver. I have never heard of Skarp, but I doubt they are of the same ilk as Skrewdriver. I think I just associate SK with a bunch of fascist, bigoted nazis thanks to Skrewdriver. 1+ Reply

Dave from AT here: Jelvins are playing Seattle on the 30th and 31st, all ages the 30th, restricted 31st. The 30th is Akimbo and Skarp, DOA cancelled unfortunately, but someone else may play. The 31st is Big Business, Evaps and The Makers. Skarp is a great crust/grind band who are from Seattle. They used to do some ska type shit too, hence the name SKArp. 1+ Reply

Maybe this is the year that our prayers are finally answered and that cesspool of a state falls into the ocean for good.

I'm glad that everything cool happens on the west coast or in Europe. That makes it easier on us East Coast kids that dont want to be bothered by cool things like punk rock concerts.
