Nervous Breakdown updates us with a couple bits of news.
Firstly, the label has announced its newest signing as Grave For The Fire Flies, who will be recording their debut this spring. In the meantime, you can check out MP3s from their Dead Eyes EP here and here. Also, NB act Fail To Follow had their debut release pushed back to April 19th. The CD will however be available before the street date via mail order. Nervous Breakdown Records (18 comments)

Grave for the Fire Flies? I bet these guys watched a lot of anime. I hear that "Grave of the Fire Flies" is a really good film. 1+ Reply

"We miss the ferociousness of Black Flag, Treadwell, The Misfits, Ink AndDagger The Nerve Agents, Le Shok and The Murder City Devils. Our surrounding cities are plagued with unoriginal pop rock bands that cry about shit topics, ex-football players playing pop punk and metal/hardcore bands who clone their hometown heroes a little too closely. Grave For The Fireflies is for the underdogs. We're for the kids in the corner. We're for the ones that don't sleep at night. The ones with no friends. We're for the losers that don't fit in. We're for the ones that feel like the living dead." i hate when bands write shit like that about themselves. like they are sooo good and high and mighty and alone in this world . i especially hate it when they write this kind of stuff and end up sucking, as did this band - jones the bones - stevejones8770@yahoo.com 1+ Reply

These guys are amazing! I can't believe they're from Orange County. A breath of fresh air if you ask me. I can't wait until their cd comes out. Plus, they have a hot girl guitar player. Always good in my book! Ha

i know you all are too busy listening to your atreyu or bleeding through records so take a seond and listen to this band and realize you need a huge change in your life. grave for the fire flies are actually doing something original in this day and age...and fuck man if they want bring back the feeling of the misfits or the murder city devils or whatever then more power to them...that would be doing more than any other band in this day and age. ^Death Kids Unite^

Grave for the Fireflies are rad, and outstanding. Nice bunch guys that wanna make a dent in this world. Don't be hatin when you aren't doing what you love. What matters is the band is still here, and their set to destroy. Great playing with you guys at the Anarchy a while back. The Bats love ya. Keep on rockin them asses.

To many shit talkers on here. Grave For The Fireflies are just in their infancy but suprisingly pack a decent punch considering their rocky beginnings. Its well worth your time to check them out and give them a listen. I got their demo for free and end up listening to it every other day. Nutty cd art also. -JawKnee

I heard they kicked out the ex guitar player because he fucked the girl guitar player. 2+ Replies
