New track from upcoming Circa Survive debut

Equal Vision has posted a track from the upcoming debut of Circa Survive (ex-Saosin, ex-This Day Forward.) The song is from their upcoming full length debut, Juturna (out April 19th) and it is also featured on a limited edition 4-song tour EP only available at shows. Appropriately enough, the band is currently on tour with Northstar, Lucero and the Honorary Title.

the dude can't help if his voice sounds like that. what should he just be like "well, when i sing it sounds too much like that mars volta guy, so i might as well not be in a band". if everyone who sings quit cause they sound a little like someone else then half the bands out there wouldnt exist

I know little about this band, but anyone who immediately dismisses it as a "_____ rip-off" because it's "cool" in Internet space to do so, for some personal sense of satisfaction, is a chump.

I like the sounds of animals fighting way more, everyone should download that cd, it's trippy as fuck, and less burrito-core than mars volta.

Wow, Equal Vision sure does have the market cornered on horrible bands. What do they do? Scour the country looking for the most unlistinable bands out there? Where do they find such garbage?

EVR does have some terrible bands...but this isn't one of them shut up and turn on your hearing aids...this is good music you idiots they don't sound like The Mars Volta at all...they are just progressive rock like TMV are

Circa Survive has their own uniqueness to them and are a very talented band with a lot of great things headed their way. mars volta ripoff? maybe you should try listening a little better.

First of all you fuckers dont no shit about music... Anthony Green from Circa Survive sounds nothing like The Mars Volta... the only reason why yall think that is because they have similar singing styles... Pretty much they stay in the same note range when singing.. but the actual music is so different anyone to say they sound a like is a fucking dumb ass and obviously knows nothing about music..or has never actually played an instrument. and if you do you suck cause all yall do is fucking complaine about bands that are writing music.. It will definitely find its way into my cd collection. I think people are just bitching to bitch. Just because a band has the same kinda feel to it doesn't mean that its a ripoff lets face it there is no way in crap every band can come out with something completely new and unique. Ever here of musical influences and better yet lets hear the people who are complaining construct an amazing song like this.
