1-2-3-4 Go! have announced updates on a number of upcoming releases.
This fall the label is will reissue Hickey's Various States of Disrepair CD, which was originally released via Poverty Records in 1997. The record has been expanded to include the songs from the band's Voodoo Glow Skulls and VBF splits as well as compilation only tracks. The label comments "I've wanted to reissue this record for a long long time and I can't tell you how much it means to me and how excited I am to get this back out there for people. This band and this record had a huge influence on me when it came out and it's been sad how few people have had access to it. We're shooting for it to come out in October to give us a chance to get the art together and remaster everything to bring it all together." The new 9 song CD from Portland, Oregon's the Horde will arrive on May 17th. It collects their first EP with five new songs. Two MP3s and preorder information can be found on the label's website Most of the of the members of Boston's Sirens are now playing in a new band called Ringers. 1-2-3-4 Go! will be putting out a full length of all new material from them in August to coincide with the start of their tour. More details will be announced soon. 1-2-3-4! Go Records (20 comments)

Fucking RAD NEWS about the Hickey re-issue, like just about everyone I know all I have is a CD-R... Something isn't right with that "1234 Records" link that is the first word of this news story, it links to this story instead of the 1234 website... (that, or FireFox is acting up). I thought 1234 was from Seattle, re-located to the SF-Bay Area? 2+ Replies

Not excited about the Hickey reissue, but I AM excited about their recent Whiskey Sunday "Maldecidos" cd! It's in the running for record of the year for me, and it's only April! Check it out, maybe there's mp3s at the 1234 site? The duet with Annie/This Is My Fist is especially tasty.

The Siren Six! ? Nah, I have no need to hear any more of them since they sold out, moved to Hell-A, canned their horns, then said they were more mature than when they played ska.
