This is a great idea...glad to see the warped crew keeping things fresh!! 4+ Replies

Good bands but the tracklisting sucks, comps are better when the songs are unreleased. Why buy a cd when you already have most of the songs... 4+ Replies
Someone (April 27, 2005)
Not only are hardly any of these unreleased, but they seem to have picked the worst tracks from alot of these albums 3+ Replies
BizzleBrizzle (April 27, 2005)
What a pile of shit, there's like maybe 6 worthwile bands on this. I remember the 2003 one was semi-decent, it had Breathe In on it. 2+ Replies

i noticed that all of the bands on this are on indie labels !!! even the offsprings song (i know, offspring sucks) is from the nitro record. five stars for that reason alone. i agree that the songs could have been picked better and i too own most of the bands records already but if the warped tour is highlighting the indie scene that made it popular then scene points to them... 7+ Replies

I don't know, I just feel like this music is being exploited. And I know there is an old punk band called Exploited and they were ok. They had a song is the movie SLC punk. And don't even get me STARTED on that movie or Salt Lake City!! BUT, what I am getting at is a sampler is a sampler. It has samples of different bands. I mean, come on they are full songs and not 30 second clips. Why must all of you be against this stuff. I know I'm only 14 and in my parents house, but I am going to change the world. As Michael Jackson once said so eloquenty, HEEE HEEE OOOOWWW! 2+ Replies

Did Pennywise get added to this tour and no one told me? Ditto Flogging Molly. Good to see headliners the Transplants and Thrice on there 2+ Replies

What pisses me off about the warped comps, is that half the bands on the comp are not even on the fucking tour. I mean im definetly looking foward to hearing the new pennywise song, but give it to punk o rama 10 or something, cuz there not on the warped tour, sideonedummy does this every year on the warped comp, is it so hard to pick bands that are actually on the tour cuz theres plenty of them
Someone (April 27, 2005)
Even though its not unreleased at least STRUNG OUT'S SONG "ANALOG" IS A GREAT SONG....STRUNG OUT IS GONNA RIP SHIT UP ON THE TOUR!
niveK82 (April 27, 2005)
hey its the cd im gonna get for getting my tickets during presale. then that cd will go directly in with my other cds, and i will never listen to it, just like the last 3 years. 2+ Replies

Unreleased songs by MxPx, Dropkick Murphys, and NUFAN, and live Flogging Molly. I'm buying this.

I remember the 2001 Warped Comp being really good. But then again, I was in 7th grade when it came out.
Someone (April 27, 2005)
alot of the songs had been the free mp3's at the band's websites for months. either that or their most well known songs
Someone (April 28, 2005)
I am going to download each and every one of these songs just to fuck this stupid record company. 2+ Replies
Someone (April 28, 2005)
is that a new PW song or has it been released recently as an mp3? I havent checked out the PW website since 2001 1+ Reply
Someone (April 28, 2005)
Well if you wonder why this comp is so cheap when you buy, it is because most of the songs were already available for free, so it doesn't cost much to produce. oh and a new Boys Night Out song is siiiiiiiiiiick.
Someone (April 28, 2005)
"For Fiona" by NUFAN will be released as a single. They're shooting the video for it next week, let's all hope it's good and successful. -Chinatown 1+ Reply

I'm ready to give PW another chance...who's with me? I haven't listened to them since 2000, but I think this time they might pull something different out of their asses.
Someone (April 28, 2005)
This CD blows. A fourth of that stuff you can download online from the band's pages on purevolume.
Someone (April 28, 2005)
...wasn't 'Note to Self' by From First to Last on last year's compilation? 1+ Reply
Someone (April 28, 2005)
Just Strike Anywhere? And it's a song that is on like 8 other cds. Where are the other Asskicking Stage artists?
Someone (April 29, 2005)
Good to see Underminded on the comp. They really deserve more recognition. 1+ Reply

They should put a track by The Explosion on there. Then I'd buy it. But I wasn't expecting much, last year's comp was a waste of time too.
Someone (May 1, 2005)
I am so thrilled!!! I don't have to go to the warped tour cause all the bands suck!! keep up the good work, Lyman! And, just a side note, the warped tour day will always be the best day to book a show in your city. All the losers head to the warped so they don't show up at your gig and only the cool people will be there.
Someone (May 30, 2005)
Any other bands out there get scammed into thinking they were going to be on the Warped Tour Compilation CD? Paradigm did. Here's the e-mail we got. Something's got to be done about this, seriously...
If anyone has anything they wanna say, e-mail me at Twistedspikes110@hotmail.com
