Nintendo Fusion Tour to feature Fall Out Boy, the Starting Line, Motion City Soundtrack, more

Motion City Soundtrack has confirmed that they will join co-headliners Fall Out Boy and The Starting Line, as well as Boys Night Out and Panic! At the Disco on the upcoming Nintendo Fusion Tour.

Last year's edition of the tour included Story of the Year, Lostprophets, Autopilot Off, My Chemical Romance, Anberlin and Letter Kills. Dates for the 2005 run are expected soon.

i dont' know about that. mario kart battle mode on game cube was pretty damn good. much better than the one on 64. and apparently the new generation of systems are gonna be totally mind blowing

Meh, i'm done with consoles. I last one i had was a SNES. I've played on the Gamecube and what not, but i don't like the controls. Actually, my SNES is broken at the moment. Does anyone have any info on where i can send it to get it fixed up?

super smash brothers, bitch! and zelda for n64. ocarina of time, i believe. but other than that, i agree with you. actually, i think they all lost it after snes. somewhere along the line, games became less about the games and all about pretty graphics. enough ranting.

Was Super Smash Bros the one where it was on a map and a bunch of different game characters fought it out? I played that outside a cinema for well over 2 hours once. Then another hour after the film. Damn that game was good.

come on now, n64 had some wonderful titles. mario 64 is an absolute classic. paper mario is great. plus, there were such hits as goldeneye, the new tetris, super smash bros, zelda. gamecube is fun too. alright, i'll quit it now.

well, according to the website, it says "play the latest games for nintendo gamecube, game boy advance sp, and be among the first to take a peek at the nintendo ds." it appears to be the website for last year's, meaning i was greeted by a large picture of story of the year, but i would imagine it's the same deal this year.

I went to last year's version, and there were tons of consoles set up all over the venue with big screens and whatnot to play on, all for free. Plus, there was a ton of free shit being given away by Nintendo. I would assume this year would be similar. -Scott

From what I've been reading, Nintendo will have DS WiFi spots setup at a lot of their locations this summer. Of course, that could be in Japan only, but needless to say, it would be a really neat. Perhaps even shedding some light about the upcoming Revolution. Which in its own would make a display 1000000X better than that crapfest XBox aired on MTV for the 360's debut. I'm really hoping that Nintendo does well this time around. The Gamecube was cool in its own right, but the lack of games killed it -- It did out sell the XBox though [People seem to have to this misconception that it was in last place). The ability to play the legacy titles on a new console will really help sales, as not everyone knows about Emulation (and some just want to stay legal). - kirby

Ahh... I also wanted to mention that the older Nintendo games being available for download on the new system will be receive some graphical updates, which is pretty cool too. Hopefully they don't charge and arm and a leg for the games...I envision some will be free (to compete with XBox's new 'arcade.' However, I don't mind kicking out a few bucks for some of the more advance games. Of course, this all presents a problem with how many, since as far as we know the Revolution will not be harddrive based. - Kirby

Your home team must be bad or you do not have one. American Football, whilst moderatly slow is one of the most intense sporting events. I used to strongly dislike Football, until I started getting really into over the last five years. Overall, this lineup is far more tolerable than last year, with much better openers (minus Panic! At The Disco -- that shit is terrible). Go see Boys Night Out and Motion Soundtrack, then play a bunch of video games and/or hit on 16-year-old girls. -Scott
