Political hardcore act Cipher has announced a series of tour dates through July and August in support of their Uprising debut, Children of God's Fire. Some material from the album can be found on their purevolume site and the band was recently interviewed by AMP.

Horrible rage against the machine hardcore crap. the only thing cool was the dudes hair, and the lights they used. ha

These guys used to be the opening band on hardcore shows in the NYC area about 6 years ago. I thought they were absolutely horrible then - not sure how they are now. It was this rap/hardcore bullshit. Can't believe this is honestly news, but oh well.
