Sudbury, Ontario's Statues have been collaborating with former Frenetics frontman Malcolm Bauld. The band and Montreal-based Bauld have been practicing together and will be recording three songs later this month that are said to "sound like classic Frenetics" material. In late October Bauld and Statues will play a few weeks of shows together in Ontario and Quebec. Dates are being finalized now and will be announced soon.
Earlier this month Statues were finalizing songs for a new CD / EP release. The as yet untitled record will arrive this fall via Pelado Records and will follow up their full length Aux.

Sounds interesting. For a second when I first read the headline I thought they were making a statue for Malcom Bauld. I thought it was odd to honor someone not realy famous, or really dead. This is much better news. -Dante | Features

Cool! The last records from both Statues and the Fren's were each quite good.
