Jason Flaks leaves Colossal / replaced by Eli Caterer

Guitarist Jason Flaks played his last show with Colossal this past Saturday in Chicago. He is leaving the band to resume his teaching career and will be replaced by returning-member Eli Caterer. Jason posted to the band's website prior to the show:

I am very grateful to all of you that have attended the shows that Colossal has played up to this point. It is really gratifying to play for such great people. Rest easy. Colossal is in good hands as Eli Caterer is returning to the band to take my place on guitar... After Saturday night, I'll see you in the pit.

Colossal released Welcome The Problems in 2004 on Asian Man.

Agreed, I've been watching this band for a couple years now whenever they come through and I like what I see. Last time Mike Park introduced them as "one of the best bands i've heard in years".
