Katy Otto, the band's drummer had this to say:
In the past four and a half years, Del Cielo has surpassed what any of the three of us thought our band would be. It's been an honor to travel around the country and meet people. Our band has existed through turbulent political times as well, and our final show as a rock for choice event (Saturday, September 23 Richmond, VA VOX ROX at VCU with Bellafea and Ben Davis) seems fitting given our two most recent supreme court nominees. It's been so fun and we are lucky to have had this experience!

Not that I have too much concern what happens one way or the other with this band but did they just break up because the bassist left? That'd be way shitty. Still, I can't say I cared too much for this band but at least they didn't do the, "We need money to pay bills and blah blah blah". -Dante
