Ryan Sinn joins Atom Willard, David Kennedy and Tom Delonge in Angels and Airwaves

Guitarist Ryan Sinn, formerly of The Distillers has joined the quartet formed by Tom Delonge of Blink-182. The band also includes Atom Willard of Rocket From the Crypt and The Offspring and David Kennedy of Boxcar Racer and Hazen Street.

Delonge recently announced the band via a series of cryptic messages on the band's myspace page. The former Blink 182 guitarist has apparently been working on the band for the past six months while the group is on an indefinite hiatus. A "major announcement" is expected in the coming weeks, according to Geffen, the band's label.

Blink-182 will release Greatest Hits on November 1st. They released their last record, Blink-182 in 2003.

if it helps atom was horrible for the month he was in alkaline trio. plus his other band, special goodness is pretty bad too. the rocket albums he played on were definately their best though

For all of you who hate Tom or Blink for whatever reason, that is fine. I am sure they are the only band that you "hate" that you still know the words front and back to at least 10 of their songs. For a band that sucks, or a front man that sucks and is "wasting all of your time" they have sold a fucking shit load of records, to say the least of what they have accomplished. For all the kids and fucks that didnt have a good highschool, college life, im sorry you cant relate to any of the songs that they wrote about partying. Unfortunately not all the songs were about crying and girls, and death, and war, but actually about laughing, drinking, smiling, and being just fucking morons like we are suppose to be during our young years we can get away with it.
