Rocky Votolato has announced that his next full length will be released on indie Barsuk. The album is the follow up to Suicide Medicine which came closely after the final release from his former band, Waxwing. That group split up shortly after the release of Nobody Can Take What Everybody Owns.
Votolato is expected the just completed album, titled Makers, to be released on January 24th, 2006 and promises to follow the release with a national tour. Some material from Rocky can be streamed from his myspace page. Barsuk Records (24 comments)

So Waxwing is officially finished? I thought they were just on some sort of "indefinite hiatus". I mean okay, it was pretty obvious, since the Blood Bros are so succesful these days... yet there was some hope left. Anyway, I'm stoked for this record. So far everything he put out was pretty awesome. 4+ Replies
