The Felix Culpa announce EP/DVD details, stream

Common Cloud has announced a November 22nd release date for the upcoming EP/DVD from The Felix Culpa. The band began work on the DVD in March of this year, and has titled the result, Thought Control.

The EP/DVD follows the band's debut Committment and the EP portion can be streamed on the band's purevolume and myspace pages.

Already preordered. Fucking amazing. Their DVD/EP Release show is on the 4th in Arlington Heights, if you're in the area I strongly recommend checking it out. After that they won't be playing many shows for awhile except the Ernie Ball finalist thing in California. My babies are all grown up.

This thing sounds really good. I was expecting these songs to be like throw-away B-sides, but honestly I think they are even better than their full length. Is there preview clips from the DVD anywhere?

Not that I know of to the clips, but none of their songs are throw away. They work hard on everything and it shows. i'm just excited to see them play live again. Since i moved to chicago I haven't see them...three months is a long time.

Loved the album (enough to even buy it, imagine that!), can't wait to listen to this new stuff. By the way, it's not gonna change how much I like them, but are these guys on the Jesus or not? I can't tell.

Depends. haha. Marky and Joelly are both Christians, but by no means the pushy, anal "convert or go to hell" type. anyone that knows me would tell you that there wouldn't have ever been much of a friendship here if that were the case. Yeah but you'll have more fun Tristan. So for the next DVD, maybe the retrospective, I vote for the show being in Rockford, even though Rockford sucks. Hopefully I'll be on the dvd somewhere in there.

haha. well, in all honesty, we *were* going to try and have the show in Rockford in the first place... but we haven't wanted to contribute to the Nazi camp that is Minglewood since the beginning of Feb. There's no where else to play in town, so we figured "hey, why not the place we *shot* the DVD?" so... KOC it is. =] take care my furry friend. - Tristan -
