Winners have been announced for the MTVu "Woodie" Awards. The first-ever live "Woodies" music event and ceremony took place last night and included performances from Death Cab for Cutie, Coheed & Cambria,mewithoutYou, and The Go! Team as well as Aesop Rock, RZA, Matisyahu, Little Brother, and Saul Williams.
More than a million votes were cast and My Chemical Romance took Woodie of the Year, Motion City Soundtrack took Best Emerging Artist. mewithoutyou won Most Original Artist.
