The weirdest thing happened. Shawn Stern e-mailed me last Tuesday, saying that he was very sorry about my order, which had not yet been sent out (they were having problems with their online shopping cart and their DSL provider). He told me that he would send it out as soon as I replied to his message and told him what free CD I wanted with my order (to make up for the lengthy delay). Of course, I replied immediately. However, the very next day, I found a package from BYO in the mail; it had been sent out on Friday, October 28 (and obviously didn't include a free CD), by Express shipping. So, anyway, I'm not sure if they accidently shipped out my order twice, or if there was a miscommunication between Shawn and the guy in charge of mail order. I'll find out soon enough. Shawn hasn't gotten back to me, though he did reply to my post in the PN.or

I should point out that Shawn is incorrect about the date on which I contacted them about my order. I did so on October 2nd, immediately following the Jones/Tarver III "fight" (if you want to call it so). I'm not sure where he's getting his mid-October date. Eh, at least you got it. I can understand why they'd be a bit bothered but whatever. Seeming that they have a history of problems with this sort of thing and they don't seem really happy to do it I don't think I'll be doing mail order from them anytime soon. I've always done that kind of thing as a courtesy to the label, I figured I'd rather give them my money directly and cut out a middle man.
