Texas natives the Marked Men are planning to record in December for a new full length on Swami Records. Look for it in stores in May of 2006. The band is following up their 2004 Dirtnap Records released On The Outside. In the year since that release members of the group put out a full length as the High Tension Wires with members of the Riverboat Gamblers.
The Marked Men have a few shows scheduled this month, including dates with the Wednesdays and the Briefs. They'll also join over 100 bands in Gainesville, FL as part of the Fest 4.

Excellent The Marked Men are really fanstastic, as were the Reds. The Marked Men's latest 7' on Shit Sandwich is hot stuff too.

Swami is such a good label. I need to get Hot Snakes ASAP, then the Penetrators (right?) and Crime reissues they put out.

"On The Outside" fucking rules. I love this band. It's cool to see them on Swami too, although it continues the trend of bands I consider "Dirtnap bands" not releasing more than one record on said label. -adam
