kid's would run a huge risk trying to bring it to Binghamton, cause all the stateys on 17 (86, whatever) would be really looking for kids going up there and you'd get searched very easily. basically the only safe time was move-iin days. so Nov/March rolls around, quantities are running low, and all of a sudden people are literally charging $25 a gram, and getting away with it. supply and demand dude, amazing what some people will pay. and i would think at such a big school like yours, no one would really care.

That, and the XB360 is looking pretty lame right now. A bunch of ports and two original games that are getting better than average reviews (I don't do Arcade racers, so Project Gotham isn't quite for me.) Okay, I'd rather win the XB360 and then sell it to buy a 30 copies of this.

I'm steering towards the Revolution. I have a PS2 now and think it is the best of the current gen consoles, but PS3 and XBOX360 are too big, too much, too soon. They're going to cost in the area of $500. Nintendo is the only one doing their own thing now. Yeah the DS isn't quite living up to potential, but I'd rather buy games that play in an entirely different way than getting a new, more expensive system just to pack in more of teh gigahurtz that marginally improve graphics and do nothing for gameplay.

i want to agree so much, but i just can't for a reason that you said. PS2 is hands down the best current system. i love Gamecube, but only becuase of 3 games, everything else has been crap. i can't justify buying another system from them and having this happen again. and do we REALLY know if the gameplay is gonna be as inovative as they say? if anyone can do it, Nintendo can, but i'll believe it when i see it. in the meantime. PSP is the shiiiiiiit.

I don't buy video game systems when they are new anyway, I wait a year or so to see how they pan out, so I don't drop a lot of money on a system that ends up sucking. Revolution is probably going to have fewer of the super hit games, because (hopefully) it will require such a different style of game that it can't be ported across consoles. But that doesn't bother me so much. I've gotten to a point where I don't want just improved versions of the same games. Racings sims don't need to be any more complex than GT4, action/adventure games don't need to be more expansive than GTA. Honestly, I want something more pick up and play. My favorite games are Worms, Super Smash Brothers, and Mario Par

see, i never get tired of racing and baseball games, ever. so PS3 will be just fine for me. much like you, i do love quirky, unique games, Chu Chu Rocket, for Dreamcast, for example, was absolutley amazing. i know it has nothing to do with what the Revolution will be, but you get the idea. also, PS3 is gonna have some great RPGs, which for the most part i've grown tired of, but i think they may have some stuff that will get me right back into them.

I have to say we have a video game exhibit at the museum and my favorite games are Gamecube games. Prince of Persia, Super Smash Brothers, Metroid Zero and even old school Mario 64. The other systems seem to get more reality based and realistic where Nintendo seems to get more out there. Still, I'd have to see. I do love games like Burn Out 3 and Tony Hawk, but I just don't know where I'll head. Still my favorite games right now, Pitfall (old school!!!), Super Mario 64, Super Mario Land, Halo 2 and Burn Out 3. Glad I have shit to do durn breaks. -Dante
