So Adeline just quit everything they used to do? That sucks, they had a quality roster. 1+ Reply

This is somewhat of old news but, J Mal is awesome, I've seen him twice live and he puts on an amazing show with his band and with just his keyboardist. Both of his albums are awesome and he knows how to write. He is contiuing the punk singer/song writing in the shadows of Lou Reed and Joe Strummer's solo career. Those of you who think this isn't punk or it is lame that "Adeline" signed him, can go listen to Fall Out Boy becasue most of you have absolutely no clue what real punk rock is. Jesse was and still is punk-rock. 3+ Replies

This douche bag hasn't been good since his days with the incredible early New York hardcore band Heart Attack. Funny, that fact isn't mentioned in his bio, it's almost as if he's embarassed by his own history. D Generation sucked, I had to suffer through that crap once when then opened for the Ramones I think and his solo stuff is just as vapid.

Also, you forgot that he's in The Finger under an assumed name with Warren Peace (aka Ryan Adams). 1+ Reply

...O Rly? Jesse Malin has done a lot of touring in europe and actually has a pretty good draw, so this is a pretty weird signing to me. Sucks that adeline seems to have totally "progressed" too.

My favorite part was when they went into Atlanta with a tank, asking for Scott Hall and Kevin Nash. | Features

And so begins the reinvention of Adeline, I'll also note the awesome new webpage, with the queer ass logo. I'm going to swallow my comments about how this guy sounds like a million other singer songwriters and simply state that it's a shame that Adeline has to make money. I know it couldn't continue like it did but how do you drop bands like The Frisk, Agent 51, the Fleshie1 and the likes and put this out? Simple, this will sell....Eh well, it's a living. -Dante
