The Dropkick Murphys have announced the dates for their annual St. Patrick's Day shows. This year there will be five dates, from March 16th to the 19th, with two shows on the 18th. The band warns:
These are the only shows, we will not be adding any other dates. THIS IS IT so please buy your tickets when they go on sale and don't delay otherwise you will have to face the insane mark up of the Lansdowne Street scalpers.
All shows will be held at the Avalon Ballroom in the band's hometown of Boston. No opening bands have been announced yet, but in the past bands have included Ireland's Ash, The Ducky Boys, Kings of Nuthin' and other acts.

The tickets go on sale online on the 8th of December via Ticketmaster and at the Orpheum Theatre (free of surchages) on the 10th.

The band has also included on their webpage a list of hotels and ideas for making it a weekend in Boston, including the annual St. Paddy's Day parade and a Bruin's game.
