Suicide Machines pre-1996 material remastered and re-released on Noise Riot Records

Suicide Machines vocalist Jason Navarro and his wife Sandra have launched Noise Riot Records. For its inaugural release, the label will be releasing a remastered collection of pre-1996 material from the SideOneDummy act.

Titled On The Eve Of Destruction 1991-1995, the 28-song collection includes all the early demos, Green World full length, Van's Song 7-inch, and early versions of "New Girl" and "The Real You" from the Skank For Brains split. The release is available directly through the band and at their shows.

The band continues to support their 2005 full length, War Profiteering Is Killing Us All and will be touring the West Coast with Pennywise, No Use for a Name and Love Equals Death.

That includes the shipping and handling prices so its not as expensive. I'm not sure how much they charge for shipping so the only way to find the actual cost is to buy one at a show.

still, you can ship a cd anywhere in the states for like 1.50, and say $1 for envelopes, but probably cheaper if they reuse old ones. so 2.50....15 dollars is still fucking expensive for an indie release, especially one like this where it is just remastered old songs. suicide machines profiteering

I don't think it's entirely fair to call the new movie "a remake." It was a movie with Gene Wilder and Zero Mostel. Mel Brooks wrote/directed it. Then, decades later, Mel Brooks adapted it to become a Broadway musical, orignally starring Matthew Broderick and Nathan Lane (though continued runs saw different actors come in to assume the two leads). The musical has been a huge hit for years now. So, Mel Brooks adapted the musical into a film. But it's important to recognize that the new film starring the musical's original lineup (Broderick and Lane) is a film adaptation of the musical, not the original film. There are songs and dancing, etc. which never appeared in the Gene Wilder version. This now will be like the recent film versions of Chicago or Rent. So. There's a difference.

Just use a money order or Paypal and you won't have to worry about a single thing. That way its easy to get your money back if something happens. Also I've used paypal 3 times to order from their webstore and I've always gotten my stuff within 3 weeks. the forum only consists of a small chunk of TSM fans so I wouldn't let it act as a cross section for all of the merch orders.

Primarly because paypal protects against those sort of things when you buy from a retailer. Its also easy to keep track of all the transactions to see what has shipped or not. that also means that there is a record of your purchase which is useful for getting your money back. Basically, Paypal will make them send it back or boot them from the service, and that would be an extremly bad thing.

i have that green world tape, it was back when they were still called jack kevorkian and the suicide machines, its nothing special though, the recording isnt all that great either, and the version of vans song from that 7 inch isnt too great either. real cool guys though, they were all at the fordire show last night at this hall down the street from my house.

its the episode where burns wants his bear bobo back. i believe the title of that show is called rose bud. rose bud is a reference from the movie citizen kane. that episode draws heavy influence from the 1940's movie.

Remastered classics that are no longer availible and alternate versions of some awesome songs from DxD... I've actually wanted them to release something like this for years because all the stuff I have from their first couple releases before DxD sound like crap.

If you want to pick up any of their cds, I'd recommend grabbing Destruction by Definition first. It's by far my favorite record.

Look at the cd this way. This release is a springboard to get the label some attention, he knows there are alot of people (myself included) that would love to hear their old shit. The songs are going to be beefed up from their original recordings, and with the amount of tracks on the cd the price isnt bad at all. HEY SKA!
