Jesse Michaels and Chris Appelgren launch Dynaformer

Jesse Michaels of (Operation Ivy, Common Rider) and Chris Appelgren have launched Dynaformer. The site is a showcase of their art, including Chris's work for Lookout! artists such as Ted Leo, Green Day and the Queers.

Also available from the design collective is cd, t-shirt and logo design. They are also keeping a blog running as well.

Common Rider broke up in 2003.

Unfortunately Jesse told me he wasn't planning on doing anything new musically in the near future. He also said he couldn't tour anymore. Main reason: Too much smoke in the clubs which he couldn't stand anymore. Hopefully he'll change his mind. I'm glad I saw Common Rider live before they broke up.

Its good stuff and all, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't "dig deeper" hoping I'd find something about Mr. Michaels forming a new band. I'd go for just about anything...and I wouldn't even whine if you never toured again.
