Phil Pirrone, bassist/vocalist for A Static Lullaby and his bandmates drummer Brett Dinovo and guitarist Nate Lindeman have left the band amicably.
The remaining members, vocalist Joe Brown and guitarist Dan Arnold, continue to work on 2006's follow up to Faso Latido. Sony Music Entertainment (75 comments)

I predict a breakup soon. Columbia screwed them over. Their first record, while a massive cliche today, was at least partially original when it came out. Got signed to a major label, had to tone it down some to appeal to a wider audience, no one likes it, including original ASL fans. Columbia won't let them go back to their original formula, so they're stuck in a contract, doomed to put a certain number of shitty albums, and tour them with little fanfare. Wise choice on the guys who left. I predict Brown and Arnold will realize a split is the only way out. I don't really like the music, but I feel bad for 'em, I'm sure Columbia played a large role in destroying these guys' dreams. 1+ Reply

uh...maybe its time for a name change? either that or continue as a 2 piece. 3 new players = new band when it comes to shitty music like this

Good news. This band has definetley gone down the shitter musically. Faso Latido was a major waste of money and time.

Wow that sucks...I did an interview with those guys in the summer and they were really chill guys. I wonder if their going to start another band? And I also wonder what caused this to happen

I'm sorry, but it is highly unlikely that 3 members of a band leave "amicably". You know some shit had to go down. I'm just saying is all. I have heard one song by tham and don't intend to hear more. dakotacore | Features
