First Touch & Go, then Dischord, now SST on emusic. My life just got better

SST stuff only sounds good on vinyl. Someone needs to remaster those recordings badly.

anybody notice that in the boost mobile commercials with travis barker, when he's a little kid he gets chirped and goes to see a descendents show?
Someone (January 11, 2006)
great label with a great roster. even the meat puppets had a couple of cool releases on sst back in the 80s.
kingofpain (January 11, 2006)
I canceled my emusic subscription a month ago. And I kept getting offers to "try emusic again free for the first month," but I figured there wasn't much on there worth downloading. I wonder if I can still get that offer.
Someone (January 11, 2006)
the dinosaur jr stuff hasn't been on sst for a significant amount of time. any reason why they can use the material as part of their catalog even though the albums aren't printed by them anymore?
housewrecker (January 11, 2006)
In my humble opinion, SST has the greatest catalog of any label ever. I'm definitely not saying there isn't a lot of shite, but definitely the largest number of GREAT records...
MrStabone (January 11, 2006)
oh cool i think you can sign up for emusic and get 50 free downloads, so I am gonna pick up a couple SST records for free sweet

The Fuckers should pay the royalties owed to the bands that made that label.

God, I love the Descendents. When am I going to see a reunion of them? I must see "Pep Talk" and "Suburban Home" perfomed live...
jamespastepunk (January 11, 2006)
Hmmm....I've been meaning to pick up some stuff from Husker Du, but haven't really gotten around to it, I've got money on iTunes, should I just buy it off iTunes, or are the liner notes for Zen Arcade and New Day Rising worth purchasing them in CD form?
Infrarecon (January 11, 2006)
Is there a reason Pandora is listed under Epitaph at emusic but PNR at most other. Just noticed it while browsing.
TheOneTrueBill (January 11, 2006)
WHAT!?!?! No Gone,. Painted Willie, or Tom Trocolli's Dog? Man, those are the BEST of SST!
