I see some bands I'd like to see there, mostly guilty pleasures. In a festival setting, I wouldn't mind seeing a little bit of My Chem, TBS, Lostprophets (haha), and... I think that's it. I'd also like to see Goldfinger, The Bled, and Angels and Airwaves, because I wonder what it's going to sound like. 4+ Replies

Angels and Airwaves are probably the most talented and creative band talking about music and talking about making songs out there right now - jones the bones - stevejones8770@yahoo.com 3+ Replies

MCR, TBS, Atreyu, The Ataris and Goldfinger? It's like the organizers of this festival went on to this message board, found out which bands were the most hated and then decided to put them all together on one bill.

I have this mental image of Angels and Airwaves getting ready to play, and just as Tom starts to strum his first note, there's Mark, hiding behind the stack, pulling out chords and connections like that general did in Forrest Gump, right before his speech on the mall.

Wait...Is there a band called Taint? I take back everything bad I ever said about this wonderful fest. It will be a celebration of all things amazing and beautiful. -Dante

Angels And Airwaves is probably the most influential band to hit the scene since the release Bowling For Soup's Punk Rock 101 in 2003. Thank you, Tom Delonge. 3+ Replies

I was really excited about AVA before I saw that video of the band standing around selling themselves to me. It was fake and sickening. If they want hype, then release a song that proves they're the real deal. Enough fucking talk! I havent even heard this shit and I'm tired of it.

I know a lot of people say this, but this HAS to be the worst fucking line up I've ever seen on this site. This is like looking out your window and seeing a dinosaur. I just can't believe it. Wow...wow.

Does anyone else find it funny that there is an interview with Greg Graffin on the main page of Suicidegirls.com?
Best part:
DRE: Have you ever slept with a Goth girl?
GG: In the early days there was no distinction between Goth and punk girls. Bad Religion has a lot of Goth credibility because on our first album cover we put a huge woodcut on the back of our first album. That became a symbol for Bad Religion. So in the early days yes I was with a lot of Goth girls.
DRE: What’s good about Goth girls in bed?
GG: I’m not sure their style dictates how good or bad they are in bed.
DRE: So they never tried to stab you?
GG: No in fact some of them are just too disturbed to be any good in bed. They’re strictly for show.
DRE: What’s your favorite pornography?
GG: Very plain. Regular porno. I’m not into urination or defecation or S & M or anything that could show rest of comment 4+ Replies

this gig could have been good if it wasn't in the fucking cattle shed that is the MEN arena. why the hell would u want to spend to whole days in that hell hole? this thing really needs to be outdoors. i know the weather sucks here but gettin pissed on for 2 days would be way better.

Angels and Airways are actually a "Born To Be Wild" (the chorus of the song) coverband. They just play it for 56 minutes on repeat. At least, that's what i'm told.
