Textbook Music has announced the signing of North Carolina-based William. The project is the solo effort of multi-instrumentalist and vocalist William Goodyear (Between the Buried and Me, Hopesfall, Prayer for Cleansing).

The label explained the project as:

The writing of this batch of songs started in 2004 when Will and his girlfriend Debra were told of the conception of their daughter, Ainsley (born August 2004), and serves as a diary of his thoughts and experiences as a new father.

Some rough demos can be found on his myspace page and his new album, Surface the Vessel is due out later this year.
