Platelets (ex Æffect) join Lujo Records roster

Aaron Feibus, former frontman of the Æffect has formed Platelets. The new group features both he and Maria Duran on vocals as well as a multitude of instruments. The band, based in San Francisco and Los Angeles, recently recorded the song "Underwater (Sozzle)" for Lujo Records' upcoming Love and Loathing Valentine's Day compilation. A full length debut is expected on the label sometime in 2006.

Platelets have launched a somewhat unique band website, mirroring the structure of a blog more than a typical band site and featuring articles from both members on an assortment of topics.

i can't wait to hear what they come up with... aaron's work with the aeffect was amazing. hopefully the momentum they had carries over into platelets. pretty rad website, too...reminds me of gizmodo
