New Das Oath and Souls She Said albums, tracks and details

Dim Mak has announced plans to release two full lengths on February 21st. The first comes from transcontinental punk act Das Oath who will release the follow up to 2004's Das Oath. The album is titled Mini LP.

Due out the same day is As Templar Nites the debut from Soul She Said. The band is a project featuring The Icarus Line's Joe Cardamone and Don Devore (ex Ink and Dagger). The band released Rub The Sleep Out in 2003 via Buddyhead Records.

I really don't see what Charles Bronson fans have against the Oath. Better production, less shitty grind/metal parts. I guess their covers don't look like they were made on the spot at Kinko's, but hey, I don't care about that, either. Face it, Charles Bronson were important for what they did, but musically, after they broke up, the members all started superior bands. VMW, Ruination, and Das Oath all more than make up for CB. -Will

Charles Bronson was cute because they were all learning to play and McCoy was testing different voices, but the songwriting only stood out as completely special on maybe 20 of the 90-something songs they released. Spazz did it better and with more focus coming from the "fastcore" angle, and Voorhees were a better hardcore band. -Will

I've heard this Das Oath song on something else, but maybe that's not a big surprise. I think this is out already, too. A couple sites have had it for order the last two weeks online. I think they're a better band musically than CB as well...A lot of people like Bronson because it's cute to listen to "weird" music these days.

Charles Bronson aren't that weird, they were just fucking around, having fun and churning out some songs. I'd never describe them as "weird". They're catchy and pretty poppy.

Poppy was pushing it, i know, but they're an catchy and fun band. It's possible to be catchy and extreme at the same time. I just think most people on here over-exagerate alot when it comes to bands with grind parts.

The deal probably fell through, because since the rumours started they've signed a bunch of great, pretty intense bands, and i doubt the asshat twins has anything to do with that because i saw them say that "bloc party is our alltime favorite band" in an interview. That's probably the dumbest statement ever.
