Alive Records has signed Detroit's SSM. The three piece feature John Szymanski of The Hentchmen and The Paybacks, Dave Shettler of The Sights and Marty Morris of Cyril Lords. The band has been touring throughout the winter in support of their demo LP1, recorded by Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys. The band is currently recording a new record with Chris Koltay at High Bias recordings in Detroit. Alive will release the record, for which a title is currently unknown, on May 23rd.
