My Chemical Romance has released the second preview for their upcoming DVD/CD release titled Life on the Murder Scene. The discs follow their successful major label debut, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge.
The set aims to document the past year, with the CD portion including live versions of "Thank You For The Venom," "Give 'Em Hell, Kid," "Helena" and "The Ghost of You," as well as rare tracks and demos. The DVD set to include videos, live performances, online content and a video diary. The album was originally scheduled for release on November 8th, 2005, but has been pushed back to 2006 as the band compiles more footage and additional content. A second DVD will include live footage from the two-dollar-bill show, TV appearances ("Late Night With Conan O'Brien" and MTV's "Discover and Download"), performances taped for various online music outlets, plus music videos (including both versions of the clip for their breakout single "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)") and behind-the-scenes footage. You can check out the preview here: Windows Media (450), Windows Media (300), Windows Media (700), Windows Media (300) The package is due out March 21st, 2006. Warner Music Group (63 comments)

i must start by saying i could care less about what people think when i listen to music. if i like it, then i like it. i dont care if people think im not punk enough because i only own one nOFX album. or that im too "emo" because i think from under the cork tree is so catchy it is infectious.
i liked mychem. i loved my chem. i drove 10 hours to see them play once because i had a few days off during a spring break. their first full length was lights out and remains one of the 5 monst influential cds in my life. that being said, they now blow hard. their second effort is so contrived. everything they have done seems so out of context when i consider what they were like before "I'm Not Okay." they have lost everything raw and edgy about them. they lost the ability to play truly passionate, tortured music. they lost the ability to keep doing w show rest of comment 7+ Replies

Life on the Murder Scene? What, did they spend sometime in Iraq recently or something?

anyone see the jab on punknews.org in the new issue of AP? In the article about From First To Last... "As a band, they've endured a torrent of scorn cast down by message-board warriors defending the dubious punk honor code that permeates the forums on sites like punknews.org and absolutepunk.net" 4+ Replies

I wonder what their next big theme will be, cuz you know that the whole hearse thing will eventually get old with these hacks. They are totally going to go metal on their fans. eventually 2+ Replies

Hey guys, I don't think pre-orders are slow because the first preview wasn't up to snuff. Make all the previews you want, it won't take the suck out of your music.

See it's always the same. Every time MCR does something for their fans all most you do is flame rude comments about it. If you are not a fan of MCR, then why bother say stupid crap if you don't care about anything they do? 1+ Reply

you are right! My Chemical Romance is a good band and they never did anything to offend anyone in any way so why dont all of you keep the rude comments to yourself then go write about it in your diary then laugh to yourself because youre oh so whitty and clever | Features

As much as I am not a fan of their music, they do have very good music videos, so this has potential to be decent.
