Demolition Doll Rods launch new e-card/player

Detroit's Demolition Doll Rods have launched a new e-card/player for their upcoming full length for Swami. The album is titled There Is A Difference and is due out April 18th, 2006.

You can check out two songs via the e-card right here.

The album is their fourth album and second for Swami. It was recorded by Gar Wood (Hot Snakes, Beehive and the Barracudas) A pre-order has also begun.

this shit sounds pretty rad. kind of campy, but with enough distortion to make it enjoyable.

i think that's how it works in most big cities. these guys definetly have a detroit sound though. reminds me a little bit of MC5

the dollrods always seemed to be like one of the bands the metro times and real detroit tell everyone they should love but i don't know anyone who goes to see them ever. right now easy action is one of the only bands in detroit that i will make a special trip downtown to see

What about Terrible Twos, Human Eye, Bill Bondsmen, Dirtbombs, Redredred, Odd Clouds, Little Claw, and Spitunes? Dollrods are good live, but their last record SUCKS.

the uglies are always good live, country bob and the bloodfarmers are good for about 25 minutes (too bad they usually play about 45) publife is good once in a while, i don't mind a lot of detroit bands but there isn't really that many that make me want to go see them everytime like bang bang did, or as if you couldn't tell from my login, the skolars/ telegraph. the bondsmen are the only band out of the list you put out there that i've seen, and the dirtbombs are the only other band i've heard of

Downtown brown, the Amino Acis and the BRAINSAW. Also great live detroit bands

yeah dtw and the aminos are amazing. same with the koffin kats and wolfbait. there is a lot good in detroit i guess. consider me proven wrong

you need to see the dirtbombs. theyre playing monday with the black lips,who are also amazing. redredred are pretty good. the human eye are also fantastic,but I dont know if ill have the dough to see them thursday.
