London's Demented Are Go were recently forced to cancel their string of dates in the US. As the band flew in to play their show on March 30th in Anaheim, CA, fonrpterson Mark "Sparky" Phillips was turned away by officials at LAX. Phillips has a prior criminal record and while details were not made available, it appears that may have been the reasoning. The band was forced to cancel all their tour dates and headed back to London.
Demented Are Go were formed by Phillips in 1982 and will be releasing their first album in five years, Hellbilly Storm on March 14th via Hep Cat Records. News (25 comments)

They've toured over here before, did he have the criminal record the other times they've been in the US? Sounds like bad luck with the customs officials. Border officials are the lowest form of life on earth- besides rapists. 3+ Replies

Does anyone think the logistics of this tour are a little odd? Flying from Londong to California? 2+ Replies

i remeber hearing about him getting arrested years ago in shopping mall wearing a tutu and a tiara pinching a 15 yeard old girls ass. that could be one of the many reasons why they dont get in.

Sounds like the band needs a new manager. This shit can be sorted out in advance.
