New music from Matamoros (Hot Cross, Lickgoldensky, Orchid)

Recent Robotic Empire signing Matamoros has debuted two new tracks.

The band includes members of Anodyne, Hot Cross, Lickgoldensky and Orchid and takes influence from Sonic Youth, My Bloody Valentine, Born Against, Unwound and Neurosis.

You can check out both songs on their myspace page.

The band recorded the songs at Brooklyn, New York-based Translator Audio Studio and they will appear on the band's upcoming debut scheduled for a summer release.

A zine that discusses anarchy in a social and day-to-day sense. The writers do a lovely job of describing anarchy for those who might not be familiar with it. Very inspirational... you may already be an anarchist!

against me are not anarchists, sorry. they've got the lyrics for it, but depending on the purity of anarchy that you're questioning, the very act of being in a band to spread an ideology and create a system or social sect would technically be against what anarchy is about.

It's right over the border from Brownsville, TX

all you can drink beer for like $3 at the bars there. had a couple crazy spring breaks over there.
