Sailor's Grave signs Virus Nine

Continuing the recent flurry of signings, Sailor's Grave has announced the signing of Medford, Oregon-based Virus Nine. The street-punk rock n' roll band was formed in 1996 and self-produced their first two full-length DIY albums (one featuring guest vocals by Jesse Luscious of Blatz / Criminals) as well as a 7-inch on Mental Records.

You can check out a song here: "Curse, Cuss."

The band's Sailor's Grave debut, We Came To Wreck Everything is expected later this year.

im pretty sure i remember them being on a sampler, but that mayve just been them getting promoted through payment and not actually being a part of the label.

Or maybe they relased two full lengths. "what are you afraid of" and "blastin' away" on A-F records.

Anybody who actually likes real punk rock likes this band. This new crybaby shit sucks, this band gives it to you straight from the heart and straight up punk rock the way it was supposed to be.

They did two full lengths sucka. Blastin away never got the respect it deserved, it seriously is one of the greatest albums i've heard in a long time. They didn't really tour after it which probably hurt the sales.

I think sailors grave records may be one of the best labels of all time, and it's brand new. Epitaph sucks, they were good for a while, byo sucks except for the briefs and about 2 other exceptions, lookout sucks, victory don't even get me started, thorp has put out something amazong with sailors grave
