The Loved Ones on Complete Control tonight

Complete Control Radio, the weekly punk rock show hosted by Joe Sib of SideOneDummy on Indie 103.1 will be talking with Dave Hause, former Kid Dynamite merch guy, Bouncing Souls roadie and current Loved Ones frontman tonight.

The show can be streamed online starting at 8pm PST (11pm EST) right here.

The show will also appear on Austin's 101X on Sunday nights at 10pm CST and has also been added to The New Area 108 in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sundays at 10pm CST as well. The show has also been added to Fungus 53 on XM Radio and the show will air there on Sunday at 9pm PST, tuesday at 12pm PST and Friday at 6am PST.

The show will be wrapping up their Slackers contest tomorrow, so you can submit your entry before then.

depends on your taste...they're damn good if you ask me. they're fun, they're rock, they've got some pretty poppy songs, they've got some faster songs...they're just an awesome band, and great dudes.

In my opinion, they're a really good rock n' roll band, if you're expecting the typical fat sound, you won't get it, but "keep your heart" was an excellent record!!

for a different opinion, i think they're really not that good. i thought they were ok live, but on record they sound like HWM mixed with Simple Plan, at least in my ears.

Thats a really odd way of putting it...I think they're more of a punk sound with definite regular rock leanings. Really good, catchy songs and they can definitely rock out.

I'd definately have to agree with the rock sound. They're a punk band that grew up on rock music. Pretty generic in the way that they remind me of Pulley. But generic isn't always bad.

The first time I saw them I thought the same thing. I didn't know any of their songs, and it was a three piece playing mid tempo, bouncy punk rock tunes.

Then I stopped being an idiot, and now I don't think they sound like Green Day.

I really really like The Loved Ones and everything. But yeah, they do sound a lot like Green Day sometimes. The bridge in 'Jane' is borderline plagerism.

Dave Hause is the coolest guy.
I loved his impressions of people on the KD DVD.

They opened for the Caddies. It was like hearing the worst AFI song over and over and over.

They just made the Caddies sound that much better.
