Horse the Band added to Sounds of the Underground

Horse the Band have been added to this summer's Sounds of the Underground tour. The tour features Converge, Evergreen Terrace, It Dies Today, Still Remains, Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying, Gwar, In Flames, Trivium, Cannibal Corpse, Terror, Black Dahlia Murder, Behemoth, The Chariot and Through The Eyes Of The Dead.

The band continues to support last year's The Mechanical Hand.

all the bitching? i was the only one who bitched. and we've had this discussion about my interests in overtly hard/heavy music. i'd be down to watch gwar. that's about it though.

Killswitch is actually pretty good for the genre. Dude has a killer voice. I don't really care for Converge albums, but they are pretty interesting live.

Horse the Band is interesting too.

Converge are terrible. It's noise, and bad noise at that.

Killswitch are laughable. I saw that rose video or something and it really was just hilariously bad.

its overall a good line up for heavy music, certainly better than the other package tours this summer with the possible exception of the slayer tour. definately blows out ozzfest, though i might have to go so i can see dragonforce. killswitch is only doing one show on the sounds tour though which sucks, last year i went to ozzfest to check them and rob zombie out and i thought they were incredible

then you are a fool. you should actually listen to a gwar album, you could just pick up america must be destroyed. amazing album and they really aren't that far from being a punk band in all seriousness. great rock band and best live show you'll see this side of fishbone

I saw them last year and I had only heard about them, mostly from Beavis and Butthead, ha. I was thoroughly entertained, and I had no idea they were actually really fucking talented.

Still debating on this, but this is a positive, Horse the Band is fun as hell, I thought their last album was one of the best of an otherwise terrible 2005. Anyone who bitches about this band needs to lighten up.

What the fuck? Gwar is the best band on this tour, fuck all those bands. Also, didnt Combat release some thrash metal back in the 80's? It went downhill after that.
