The Toasters have posted an update from their ongoing European tour, laying down some plans for their next full length. The band has been reworking their new songs while on the road and has plans to head into the studio this July. The new album, which has yet to be titled, is planned for later in the year. The band recently released a three song single titled You're Gonna Pay. It's the band's first record to feature Jason "Jah-Son" Nwagbaraocha of Florida's Strangeways on bass / vocals. Nwagbaraocha succeeds Jack Ruby Jr., who parted with the band in early 2005. The band's describes their approach on the new material as taking a "more reggaefied direction," calling it a "new era of Toasters sound."

For the Toasters' European tour they've played with Arjen Bijleveld of the Rotterdam Ska-Jazz Foundation on trombone.
