AFI is planning to include two bonus track exclusively to iTunes users who pre-order the band's upcoming album, Decemberunderground. According to the band, orders placed in the next two weeks will include a new original song, "On The Arrow," as well as a cover of Morrissey's "Jack The Ripper." In addition, i the iTunes purchases will include what the band describes as an "interactive booklet."
Yesterday, the band also released a limited 10-inch picture disc vinyl single of "Miss Murder" which includes "Rabbits Are Road Kill" on the flipside. The band will be on tour this summer and is planning trips to the UK and Japan after their stint on this year's Warped Tour. Universal Music Group (144 comments)

I unfortunately have to confirm that the new album is pretty bland and disappointing considering the 3 year wait between albums. Not to say that parts of it aren't catchy, but if you have high hopes you should probably start preparing yourself.

I think I'm gay. Some guy flirted with me last night and I got hard when he put his hand on mine. I also put his penis in my mouth and let him shoot thick ropey loads all over my face. 5+ Replies

figures that afi & apple are aligned, considering they both manufacture inferior products, that, for some reason, are lauded, without logic or question, by their supporters. 5+ Replies

I'm on my way out the door to pick up a Dairy Queen ice cream cake. It should be put into the US Constitution that Dairy Queen ice cream cakes are the best desert ever and will always beat a traditional birthday cake. 11+ Replies

itunes exclusive stuff is bullshit. Whatever happened to rewarding fans that went out and bought a physical copy of the cd with a crappy dvd that nobody gives 2 shits about?

What made this band want to change styles? They were doing fine playing punk. they had a HUGE fanbase, which has probally gone down by a large amount. If it hasn't been re-gained by all the goth wannabe kids. But they had the goth appeal with black sails and art of drowning and those aregreat punkor hardcore, if you prefer) albums. Ten bucks says it was that faggot jade. or Davey wants to be ville valo or robert smith or something. he might want to be depeche mode. or maybe Danzig. only Danzig had good changes in music. AFI doesn't. Idk, I just wish they'd realize that thier new music is shit. Being ona mjaor label might have influence, but it's not that big of a fucking deal. Anti-Flag's new cd is major label and i love it. not as good as their old old stuff but still good. Yeah. enough ranting. AFI blow now.

This album isn't good or bad - it's just flat out boring as hell. I've listened to it about 4 times, seeing if it will grow on me, and there are only 3 or 4 songs that I have any recollection of whatsoever. What a fuckin' disappointment...

I don't even know how to say this. I was in such great angst waiting for this new album, and all the build-up. But it just let me down. I'm sure it will be a big hit with all the little fanboys and girls who picked up at STS and haven't had insight enough to pull the album off the internet. This album is medeocre, at best. It's ok to listen to and mellow out. And lyrically, it's not bad. But musically it could have been much, much, much better. I love AFI, but this album seems to be a mistake. And it pains me that I waited three years for this, and it's like they orgainzed it last minute. Damn. | Features
