Pelado Records is celebrating their 10th anniversary with new releases and a new sub-label. The Costa Mesa based punk label has two new singles on the way, one from Winnipeg, Manitoba's the Detentions followed by a debut single from Santa Ana, California's the Beer Dogs. You can stream the Detentions' "Give Myself the Beats" from Pelado's MySpace page.
Pelado has also launched a second sub-label titled Self Destruct Records. The label will be geared towards 80's UK punk/hardcore, street punk/Oi! and crossover/thrash music. The label recently signed Sacramento's Dcoi! and San Diego's Disabled Youth.
Recently Pelado launched Nervous Breakdown Records, which focuses on traditional American hardcore and youth crew influenced bands.
