Chicago-based Sinister Muse has announced two upcoming releases. The first from Random55 is an EP titled Successful Attempts at Failure and will feature songs recorded from 1996 to 1999. According to band management, these songs have never been released to the public, but have garnered thousands of downloads from the Random55 website over the past 3 years.

The disc is due out September 1st, 2006.

The label has also announced the signing of Dead Town Revival, formerly known as The Culprits and promises "a cross between Social Distortion and Face to Face, with a noticeable Chicago punk rock sound. But, basically, it's a solid rock album with big guitars."

Sinister Muse Records will release the yet-to-be-named full-length album in late 2006.
