The Slits have announced a Fall tour set to kick off in late October. The `77 era punk act featuring Ari Up, Viv Albertine, and Tessa Pollitt regrouped for a pair of shows in May. The groups shows wiere mixed live by producer Adrian Sherwood of UK dub label On-U Sound Records. He is also slated to produce a new Slits record, the first since 1981's Return of the Giant Slits (the never released in the US follow up to the `79's renown Cut).
