After calling it a day back in May, JR Ewing have confirmed their final shows. The band had this to say:

After 8 years of touring and recording, weve decided to move on and do other things. But were not going out quietly: We are doing some last shows around Europe, which includes shows in Germany, Belgium and France. There are so many places we shouldve played on this last tour (UK, Portugal, Holland etc) but we had to keep it short and simple.

On these last shows we will be changing the setlist on every show, and well play songs from all our albums, meaning alot of stuff you havent heard us play in a long time. Were really looking forward to this tour, and hope to see people we havent seen in a long time, as well as all you new kids out there. Lets go out with a bang together!

The band saw the US release of their 2005 album, Maelstrom earlier this month.
