Parasites return; plan new “Best Of” compilation, tour, record

Pop punk act Parasites have reunited after splitting up in 2003. The band will be releasing a new "Best Of" package titled Retro-Pop Remasters, which will be the band's first new release since their 2000 rarities compilation, Compost. It is due out August 29th, 2006

Besides the release, the band is planning a US tour as well as a new record. Those unfamiliar with the band can check out a track here: "Hang Ups".

these remastered tracks sound amazing! Mass and Jorge did a great job on this(especially with some of the older tracks) and no Parasites fan will be disappointed.
Can't wait till Dave comes back to town to record the new stuff, should be great.

Lead singer is gay. And is about as fit as the singer from Warrant (if you've seen Celebrity Fit Club you know what I mean).

i had to sit thru this band twice. boring as hell! leave "pop punk" to MTX, Cletus, Weston, SW and The Queers...
