Hatebreed signs to a major

Hatebreed.com reports that their new album, "Perserverence" will be released on Stillborn / Universal records. The album should be out in January. A tracklisting is available at the band's official website.

Superband? Thats not a term I'd throw around so loosely. I'd prefer Earth Crisis not come back with their preachy "Blah-Blah Blah Straight-Edge" music and those idiotic militant asshole sXe kids that follow them like the fucking Grateful Dead.

No theyre not straight edge. As for signing to a "major", their last cd was distributed quite a bit through Victory - which is pretty much a major label. Who gives a fuck. Adam

They also stated on why they left victory...They felt victory was ripping them off...and victory was getting paid for all of hatebreed's hard work. Earth crisis had a similar story when they left them in '97 I believe. ahhh hatebreed sucks anyway. Probably go rap-core on us.

of course if victory were ripping them off, a major was the number one choice... do 2-3 albums, dump them without a cent. yeah great choice as for that matter only oh shit, what does it smell? oh yeah satire!

Stillborn is a tiny label ran by jamey hatebreed. So I don't know what Stillborn / Universal means. Maybe it's on stillborn and licienced to Universal?

universal bought Stillborn, so the new hatebreed is gonna still be on Stillborn but with universals distrobution. but part of the deal was that Jamey gets to keep running "his" label how he sees fit, which is good news cuz Stillborn is one of the best labels in hardcore
