My Chemical Romance reveal "The Black Parade"

Goth-besotted punks My Chemical Romance have officially unveiled the title and revealed some more about their upcoming album. Titled The Black Parade, the record is due out October 24th and is their sophomore release for major label Warner. The set was recorded at Eldorado Studio in Los Angeles with veteran producer Rob Cavallo (Green Day).

The band described the record in a recent interview which you can check out here [Quicktime].

The album follows Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge which has, to date, sold more than 1.4 million copies.

I like they're old stuff and thier newer stuff.
I loved the Vma preformance.
They're a great band with great lyrics and a great image and they actually have a reason for it all.
not like all the other bands that do it to be part of the crowd or for the money.

and they arent gonna be broken up by the fall!! they just finished their new cd and the whole thing has really taken off for them since the last album... and their not performing just because they feel like it and want to be famous... they are out there for a whole other reason... its like their therapy and a way to stay away from all the bad shit thats out there... so maybe if you just shut the hell up and do more research before saying stupid shit, then you would know that!!

I hope they don't break up!!! I'd be so miserable!! Yes I know every good band must soon come to an end but just not now! And I hate their new uniforms and hairstyles now. AWWWW!!! GERARD'S HAIR!!! My Chemical Romance is a very weird band. It took me several listens just to get into the taste for it. If you give them a good listen you can see how talented they really are. On the other hand if you REALLY dont like them that much then i can say this... All your bands suck and i hope their touring van falls off of a cliff.

Well, they're not totally off on the first quote you provided...I'm willing to bet that this new one sounds like a far cry from their first one, which is actually a pretty good record. I like about half of Three Cheers, and the songs I thought were crappy (not surprisingly) were the singles.

Though I liked half of their last one, I'm not anticipating this in any way at all. Because they're obviously going to make more songs along the lines of their popular ones from Three Cheers.

what they meant by jumping ahead four or five records was that while they were writing those records, they had so much more that they wanted to put out but couldnt... they cant release like, 3 cd's at once... they wanted to sit back and continually put them out every year or so... they had so many songs that they wanted to start recording and editing and they were neck deep in all the work that they had and all the songs that they put together... so "jumping ahead 4 or 5 records" meant that they had enough songs for about 4 or 5 other records...

the first one i believe is talking about their alter ego on the record "The Black Parade", the dark part of them, stemming from the story of the Patient in which the Patient's strongest memory is that of a parade his father took him to so that's the form in which death comes from him.

for the second quote i think we all know what they mean, and not the gay way you fag. you're just like all the others that wish they were gay so the yaoi stories you write on sites like quizilla or fanfiction come true.

and the third quote what they're talking about is how each record became better than the last. normally as a band grows older their albums become better and better in succession. in this case mcr believes that they made an album that was so far superior to the one before that it was about a four-record worth o

First of all, I'm so glad that mcr is finally coming out with a new album... Secondly, I think that if anyone has a fucking problem with mcr, they should shut the fuck up and find something better to do with their time, than to sit on a computer and talk shit about them and whine and complain about how much they hate them... i totally agree.....this certain shitheads think they can just diss my chemical romance but they really dont know what it is abou.its about a whole load of people liking them beacuse they love the music and it make sense to them.....what they might be going through during that moment and time and the song of mcr connect them somehow and makes it possible to get through that time of hardship.................my chemical romance is one of the most awsomeest bands i have ever heard...and i love the music they play...............Mcr is not a joke........they are so far far far from being a joke......i think theyre the most influencial bands of all time and will really be around for a very long time and wont go away even if it could happen...but i highly doubt it would....because theyre are awsome and if certain people cant handle it and fell the passion to diss them....Why dont you get

Hey did anyone see their performance on the VMA's on that 70story building? I did and i think it ROCKED and their new album is gonna b AWESOME cant wait to buy it. Im going to their concert this saturday so i cant wait to see them :D. Gerards hair kinda looks odd but its all good even though i think he looked better with black hair but oh well. I still love the band and i think they ROCK!!

I really get that not everyone likes them; I mean, we're all entitled to an own opinion, after all. if MCR are an influencal "punk" band then im the king of denmark (and im a chick from Boston MA). There a good emo/pop band but there probably as punk and Good Charolete (sp?). Personally i like them, that doesnt make them "pyunk" or acceptable as "punk" in any sense of the word.

Hmmm...I don't know about this new one. I loved their first two albums, and I was expecting a lot more from "Welcome to the Black Parade". They've definitely changed alot. I do agree with the people that say that they're getting way too far ahead of themselves though. I personally would've been fine if they made exactly the same style of music as they had on Three Cheers. I'll definitely buy the new record when it comes out, but I'm not sure how much I'll like it.

Look people. my chemical romance rock, they are the best band in the world at the moment. if you go on there myspace site then you can listen to the song, the black parade, at first it may seem a little weird but listen a couple of times and its really great. theres also a video on there of them in an interview clearing up some crap rumours and basically talking about the album. Please guys, support MCR. they are a really great band and great people. give em a rest! the album has a release date of 23rd october so save up your pocket money and bloody buy it!!!!

Hello all! Was reading some of the threads on here and it's really amazing how many people who dislike a band go to fan sites... what's the idea, you're going to convert us? Are you musical missionaries? Didn't think so. So shut up. thanks. Anyway, I bought the new album and it was a little different but ultimately I think it is a good change. I love the dark humor. Dead! and Teenagers are some pretty funny songs. I really like all of the songs actually. What's with all the Catholic references (on the old cd too, there's a rosary on it)? Just curious. And ps- MCR is nothing like Good Charlotte, it makes me sick to my stomach that somebody said that.
